Hello. I just had my brakes serviced because they were dragging. The mechanic repaired them and the bike rolled free. After 2 days of sitting, the front and the back are dragging again! The bike did get wet from the return visit from the Honda shop. Is this norm? Is there something I can do to prevent it from happening?
Thanks
Jeff

Hi everyone, I bought my bike this year,I have serviced the brakes, adjusted valve clearances, stripped and cleaned the carbs, and have ridden nearly 800 miles around the lake district where I live.I am having a fabulous time with this bike, I have had a 400/4 in the past, an xs650 yamaha and many triumphs and bsa's but this bike is so easy to live with compared to the others.

Hello all. I have a 1983 CBX550f which I need to have the cam chain replaced. Can someone help me on the procedure. I would like to do it myself for the experience. Also, should the cam gears be replaced as well?

I have removed the main jet, needle jet, etc and the cold start jet but for the life of me I cant figure how to get the slow jet out as it has no screw/nut head. Is there something I'm missing?

Can some one please describe or post a picture link to where the battery ground attaches to the frame? I'd like to know how it was done by the factory.
Thanks!

Could some one explain the procedure of changing over to taper type steering bearings?
It seems that the last owner of my CBX installed in a way that the top nut has bearly any room to grab the thread of the steering steam.
Is it the wrong bearings that he installed or simply did not do it right?
